Cutting Vacip Qurbani in Eid-al-Adha

The worship of sacrifice is the slaughter of animals that have the quality of qurbani, with the intention of obedience and submission to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds, on the days of Eid-al-Adha.

It is understood from the explanation given above that the obligatory sacrifice is the tenth, eleventh and twelfth days of Dhul-Hijjah, which is one of the lunar months. Those who want to fulfill the obligatory qurbani must do it within these times.

Although the meat is eaten, wild animals, bird animals such as chickens and roosters cannot be qurbani. Camel, cattle, (buffalo, cow, ox), sheep, goat can be sacrificed. Only the camel, which is five years old, the cattle at least two years old, and the sheep at least one year old, can be qurbani. It can be slaughtered with the intention of sacrificing only one person, even if the size of a ram or a goat is big. Partnerships of up to 7 people are possible for camels and cattle.

The point to be noted here is that the intention of all partners is to approach Allah. For this, there is a condition that all the partners must be Muslims in the sacrifice to be slaughtered as a partner. If one of the partners is not a Muslim or if his intention is not to worship and approach Allah, the sacrifice will not be accepted.
